Sometimes we know exactly what needs to be done in life, but we don’t really do it.

For example, you know there are so many *important* things that you have to do right now. But you would rather complete this entire article (and then maybe jump to how to stop feeling stuck in life) before scooting to your social profile and scroll down endlessly.

Here’s a list of such 17 things that you want to do but you can’t (BUT you definitely should) –

1. Sleep… a complete and satisfying sleep

But you’re still glued to your smartphone… knowing very well that you’re going to regret staying up late the next day.

2. Lose that ‘Love Hundles’

Yes, ‘Hundles’… ‘Coz what you’ve got, that isn’t ‘Love Handles’ anymore.

3. Say that one person to “Shut the f*ck up”

You even want to slap that person. Sadly, you’re supposed to be polite and pretentious. We live in a society after all.

4. Scream to everyone that you hate Game of Thrones

But will the society accept you then?

5. Eat like there’s no tomorrow

But… one, you’re broke and cannot afford anything more than bread. And second, those ‘love hundles’, remember?

6. Go to your office on time

But then those last 5-minutes of extended sleep every morning, they are the most important, aren’t they?

7. Ask your partner for more space

But what if they start giving you more space though (read: caring less)? You don’t want that either.

8. Quit your job and storm out of the office in complete fashion

But you can’t. Because you doubt no one will hire your untalented ass! ;)

9. Say ‘NO’ to your friends’ plans

But you would rather wait for someone else to back out instead of being a party-pooper yourself.

10. Start reading and completing one book every week

After all, that’s what smart people do. But you would rather stare at your room’s ceiling. Because that, sometimes, become awfully interesting.

11. Start living healthily

But that idea is only as good if it’s for “tomorrow”

12. Start living happily from now on

But then you see your friends’ perfect lives’ pictures on Instagram and get depressed instantly. But you try to convince yourself “I don’t care”…

13. Figure out what to do with your life

But you’ve just decided to live happily. So you wouldn’t want a discussion on that topic.

14. Travel the whole world alone

Sadly you’re broke ‘af… just like last year, and the ones before!

15. Stop thinking of things that will never happen

But then you see the weather changing and you start thinking how you would save your entire neighborhood when death-eaters arrive.

16. Go to movies and dinner alone

You’re afraid people would judge you and feel sorry for you though.

17. Stop caring about others’ opinions

But then wouldn’t the world stop functioning? Because it basically circles around you (does it not?)
