Benefits Of Yoga |
Here are some of the important benefits of Yoga:
(Reasons why we all should do Yoga regularly)1) Postures and Flexibility:
Doing Yoga improves one’s posture & flexibility. The Yoga Asanas (postures) pulls your joints, loosens your muscles & relaxes it. Give it at least 3 months, and if done properly, you would be able to flex your muscles more freely without any tedious & painful sighs of ‘Ahhh’ & Ooohh’s.2) Lose Weight
‘Losing weight’ is a dream task of millions. Good news for them- Yoga helps in burning calories. Also it helps us to be more conscious about what we eat, which helps us in avoiding junk foods & shedding weight faster.3) Sleep well
Let’s admit it, even after 9-10 hours of sleep, many of us feel fatigue. This happens because of the quality of sleep we have, & not the quantity of hours we sleep. Yoga improves our sleep quality. This is also Yoga’s indirect implication of some of its direct benefit- less stress, better health condition & so on.4) Self-esteem

5) Happiness
Doing Yoga helps you to stay happy. Consistent Yoga practice increases the level of Serotonin in our system & reduces the levels of oxidase & cortisol. This change in the level of hormones significantly helps us feel more positive & happy. This indirectly keeps our stress level in check, & also fights depression.Read: 7 ways to have a happening happy day- everyday!
